In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Fort Morgan Mustangs basketball team scored a close 64-57 triumph over the The Academy Wildcats.
The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against University (Greeley, CO). The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, University was tipped by Timnath (Timnath, CO), 66-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Prospect Ridge Academy Miners (Broomfield, CO) in a contest, on Friday, January 24. The Academy will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Miners go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 46-40 non-league win over Fort Lupton (Fort Lupton, CO).
