With the victory, West Mesa upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Mustangs host Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-8. Los Lunas lost 59-32 in their recent non-league match against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM)

The Hornets now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Del Norte for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. Highland will face a Knights squad coming off a 53-47 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights record now stands at 4-5.
