The Mora Rangers/Rangerettes (Mora, NM) basketball edged the visiting Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM), 31-25 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Rangers/Rangerettes now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Penasco for a 2A District 5 bout on Thursday, January 23. Mora will play a Panthers team coming off a 43-26 non-league loss to Pecos (Pecos, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Academy for Technology and The Classics falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The travel to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Horsemen in a 3A District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Horsemen go into the bout with a record of 6-12. St. Michael's lost 41-13 in their recent non-league bout against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM)
