The Walled Lake Northern Knights basketball squad (Commerce, MI), was nudged 43-41 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Arbor Prep Gators (Ypsilanti, MI)

With the victory, Arbor Prep upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Gators host Hamtramck (Hamtramck, MI) to clash with the Cosmos in a non-league test on Wednesday, January 22. The Cosmos come into the test with a record of 10-4. Hamtramck won 55-23 in their recent non-league test against Mt. Clemens (Mt. Clemens, MI)

The Knights (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Lakeland (White Lake, MI). The Eagles come into the Lakes Valley test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Lakeland held off Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI), 53-20, in a league test.
