The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Belmont Cardinals (Belmont, MS) and the host Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS), observed Belmont's basketball team overwhelm Biggersville by a score of 68-45.

The Cardinals (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Alcorn Central (Glen, MS). The Bears come into the 3A Region 1 challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Alcorn Central trounced Mantachie (Mantachie, MS), 65-44, in a league challenge.
