In Saturday's non-league test, the Bulloch Academy Gators (Statesboro, GA) basketball squad knocked off the host Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA), by a score of 37-24.
Next, the Gators encounter the St. Andrew's Lions (Savannah, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 test, on Tuesday, January 21. Bulloch Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 5-11 record after their 52-32 non-league loss to Hilton Head Prep (Hilton Head Island, SC).
The Tigers (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA). The Bulldogs come into the A D2 Region 3 test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Emanuel County Institute beat Savannah (Savannah, GA), 34-22, in a league test.
