In Saturday's non-league test, the Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA), by a score of 61-31.

Next, the Red KNights clash with the Muhlenberg Muhls (Laureldale, PA) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 24. Reading will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Muhls come into the test with a 3-11 record after their 54-50 non-league win over Governor Mifflin (Shillington, PA).

The Thundering Herd (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Altoona (Altoona, PA). The Mountain Lions come into the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Altoona bounced Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA), 60-35, in a league test.
