Indiana High School Basketball - Clay City crushes South Vermillion

January 18, 2025: Clay City, IN 47841

The Clay City Eels (Clay City, IN) basketball crushed the visiting South Vermillion Wildcats (Clinton, IN), 51-20 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Eels now possess a 4-14 record. They play next when they host North Daviess for a Southwestern Indiana bout on Tuesday, January 21. Clay City will play a Cougars team coming off a 54-19 non-league win over Pike Central (Petersburg, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, South Vermillion falls to 0-20 on the campaign. The Wildcats host North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN) to play the Falcons in a Wabash River bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 12-7. North Vermillion lost 46-39 in their recent non-league bout against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN)
