In Saturday's non-league test, the McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) basketball squad trounced the host Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD), by a score of 72-42.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Dupree Tigers (Dupree, SD) in a B Region 8 test, on Tuesday, January 21. McLaughlin will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 1-9 record after their 53-23 league loss to Lemmon (Lemmon, SD).

The Chieftains (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Miller (Miller, SD). The Rustlers come into the A Region 6 test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Miller bounced Sully Buttes (Onida, SD), 50-28, in a non-league test.
