Illinois High School Basketball - DuQuoin holds off Trico

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host DuQuoin Indians basketball team scored a close 70-66 triumph over the Trico Pioneers.
The Indians (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wesclin (Trenton, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Wesclin nipped Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL), 36-21, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pioneers confront the Christopher Bearcats (Christopher, IL) in a Black Diamond - West contest, on Thursday, January 23. Trico will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 9-12 record after their 46-43 non-league win over Anna-Jonesboro (Anna, IL).
