In Saturday's non-league test, the St. Martin Yellow Jackets (Ocean Springs, MS) basketball squad trounced the host Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS), by a score of 64-33.
Next, the Yellow Jackets encounter the Biloxi Indians (Biloxi, MS) in a 7A Region 4 test, on Tuesday, January 21. St. Martin will attempt to improve on its 20-2 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 23-1 record after their 40-15 league win over D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS).
The Jaguars (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS). The Wolves come into the 5A Region 2 test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Cleveland Central was routed by Yazoo City (Yazoo City, MS), 41-34, in a league game.
