In Saturday's non-league test, the White River Hornets (Buckley, WA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Rainier Mountaineers (Rainier, WA), by a score of 56-38.
Next, the Hornets encounter the Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 20. White River will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Mavericks come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 80-24 league loss to Davis (Yakima, WA).
