The Roxana Shells basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting Southwestern Piasa Birds to 17 in the Shells non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Shells now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Triad for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Roxana will confront a Knights team coming off a 52-36 non-league loss to Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL). The Knights record now stands at 17-4.

With the loss, Southwestern falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Piasa birds travel to North Mac (Virden, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 8-12. North Mac lost 51-29 in their recent league game against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL)
