The Salesian College Preparatory Pride basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish to 35 in the Pride non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pride now have a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Carondelet for a non-league game on Monday, January 20. Salesian College Preparatory will confront a Cougars team coming off a 59-55 league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory falls to 11-3 on the campaign. The Fightin' irish travel to San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno, CA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 13-5. San Joaquin Memorial lost 57-54 in their recent non-league game against Priory (Portola Valley, CA)
