New York High School Basketball - St. Frances Academy can't hold off St. Mary's

St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD), 66-61 in a non-league match.

With the victory, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 12-6 on the year. The Lancers travel to Nardin Academy (Buffalo, NY) to face the Gators in a Monsignor Martin match on Thursday, January 23. The Gators enter the match with a record of 6-7.

The Panthers now own a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pallotti for a IAAM A battle on Wednesday, January 22. St. Frances Academy will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 53-31 non-league loss to Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-9.
