The Kankakee Valley Kougars basketball squad (Wheatfield, IN), was nudged 35-33 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN)
With the victory, Munster advances its record to 10-6 on the year. The Mustangs host Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to meet the Wildcats in a battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 0-2.
The Kougars now own a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrean for a battle on Friday, January 24. Kankakee Valley will play a Fighting 59ers team coming off a 46-37 non-league loss to Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN). The Fighting 59ers record now stands at 2-2.
