The Scotland/Menno Trappers basketball squad (Menno, SD), was nudged 34-31 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD)
With the victory, Alcester-Hudson advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cubs travel to Garretson (Garretson, SD) to meet the Blue Dragons in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Blue Dragons enter the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Trappers now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bridgewater/Emery for a non-league battle on Monday, January 20.
