The Lennard Longhorns basketball team scored 37 points and limited the host Jefferson Dragons to 30 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Longhorns now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Spoto for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Lennard will confront a Spartans team coming off a 51-17 non-league loss to Wharton (Tampa, FL). The Spartans record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Jefferson falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Dragons host Robinson (Tampa, FL) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Knights go into the game with a record of 4-5. Robinson won 54-48 in their recent non-league game against Wharton (Tampa, FL)
