The Parkland Matadors soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Andress Eagles to 2 in the Matadors non-league victory on Saturday.

The Matadors now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Jefferson for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 22. Parkland will play a Silver Foxes squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Coronado (El Paso, TX). The Silver Foxes record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Andress moves to 6-3 on the year. The Eagles host Franklin (El Paso, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Franklin lost 5-2 in their recent non-league bout against Del Valle (El Paso, TX)
