In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Seton LaSalle Rebels basketball team scored a tight 42-37 triumph over the Steel Valley Ironmen.
In their next game, the Rebels meet the West Mifflin Titans (West Mifflin, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 21. Seton LaSalle will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 54-37 non-league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA).
With the defeat, Steel Valley moves to 4-5 on the year. The Ironmen travel to Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA) to meet the Bulldogs in a WPIAL 3A 3 match on Thursday, January 20.
