The Discovery Canyon Thunder basketball team (Colorado Springs, CO), dropped 34-25 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO)
The Bears now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewis-Palmer for a non-league battle on Friday, January 21. Palmer Ridge will battle a Rangers team coming off a 41-10 league win over Vista Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Rangers record now stands at 5-5.
The Thunder (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO). The Trojans come into the battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Fountain-Fort Carson prevailed over Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO), 39-24, in a league battle.
