Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans (Norcross, GA) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Greater Atlanta Christian will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over The Weber School (Atlanta, GA).

The Gryphons now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Houston County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 26.
