Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Summit Academy trounces Apollo Ridge

The Summit Academy Knights (Herman, PA) basketball crushed the host Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA), 75-23 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Knights (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Aquinas Academy (Gibsonia, PA). The Crusaders go into the WPIAL 1A 3 test with a 13-1 record.
The Vikings now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host Valley for a WPIAL 3A 3 test on Friday, January 20. Apollo Ridge will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 55-44 league loss to Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-12.
