Buckeye Central Bucks (New Washington, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH), 38-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Buckeye Central upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Bucks travel to Mohawk (Sycamore, OH) to play the Warriors in a Northern 10 bout on Saturday, January 21. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 11-2. Mohawk won 60-38 in their recent non-league bout against Ridgemont (Mount Victory, OH)

Next up, the Blue Jackets play the Arcadia Redskins (Arcadia, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. New Riegel will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record.
