Colorado High School Basketball - Lamar ripped by Custer County

The Custer County Bobcats basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Lamar Thunder to 39 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bobcats now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cotopaxi for a 2A/1A West Central contest on Saturday, January 21. Custer County will meet a Pirates team coming off a 59-47 non-league win over Springfield (Springfield, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 7-3.

The Thunder (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO). The Pirates enter the 4A/3A Tri-Peaks contest with a 6-5 record.
