Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Einstein Titans (Kensington, MD), 66-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Damascus upgrades its record to 13-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Montgomery 3A/2A bout on Friday, January 20. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Springbrook won 69-67 in their recent non-league bout against Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD)

Next up, the Titans clash with the Rockville Rams (Rockville, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Einstein will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 52-42 non-league win over Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD).
