The Hackensack Comets basketball team (Hackensack, NJ), was overwhelmed 86-50 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Eastside Ghosts (Paterson, NJ)
The Ghosts now possess a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trenton Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Eastside will confront a Tornadoes team coming off a 77-52 league win over West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ). The Tornadoes record now stands at 15-0.
The Comets (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ). The Highlanders come into the Big North - Freedom battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Northern Highlands trounced Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ), 85-59, in a non-league battle.
