In Thursday's league outing, the Scobey/Opheim Spartans (Scobey, MT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Frazer Bearcubs (Frazer, MT), by a count of 81-26.

The Spartans (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Dodson (Dodson, MT). The Coyotes go into the C District 3 outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Dodson smashed Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale (Saco, MT), 60-41, in a league outing.

The Bearcubs now hold a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brockton for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Frazer will meet a Warriors team coming off a 49-39 league loss to Froid/Medicine Lake (Medicine Lake, MT). The Warriors record now stands at 1-11.
