The Velva Aggies basketball team (Velva, ND), dropped 78-66 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Garrison Troopers (Garrison, ND)
The Troopers now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washburn for a B Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Garrison will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 55-46 non-league loss to New Rockford-Sheyenne (New Rockford, ND). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-7.
The Aggies (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon (Harvey, ND). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon prevailed over Dakota Prairie (Petersburg, ND), 76-41, in a league battle.
