Colorado High School Basketball - Gilpin County knocked off by Longmont Christian

The Longmont Christian Warriors basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Gilpin County Eagles to 45 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Colony Prep for a 3A/2A/1A Mile High contest on Friday, January 20. Longmont Christian will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 70-39 league win over Campion Academy (Loveland, CO). The Timberwolves record now stands at 5-4.

The Eagles (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO). The Golddiggers enter the 3A/2A/1A Mile High contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Clear Creek was outscored by SkyView Academy (Highlands Ranch, CO), 56-38, in a league contest.
