Weatherford Eagles (Weatherford, OK) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK), 77-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Weatherford upgrades its record to 15-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK) to play the Demons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Perkins-Tryon won 80-39 in their recent league bout against Sperry (Sperry, OK)

Next up, the Bluejays play the Ponca City Wildcats (Ponca City, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Guthrie will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 70-62 non-league loss to Midwest City (Midwest City, OK).
