Timber Creek Regional Chargers (Erial, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ), 72-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Timber Creek Regional upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Chargers travel to Roselle Catholic (Roselle, NJ) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 22. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Roselle Catholic won 77-56 in their recent non-league bout against St. Rose (Belmar, NJ)

Next up, the Tartans play the Cumberland Colts (Seabrook, NJ) in a Tri-County - Liberty bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Highland Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 66-38 non-league loss to Millville (Millville, NJ).
