The University Academy Charter Gryphons basketball team (Kansas City, MO), was toppled 68-56 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Knob Noster Panthers (Knob Noster, MO)
The Panthers now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carrollton for a Missouri River Valley - East battle on Friday, January 20. Knob Noster will confront a Trojans team coming off a 91-33 league loss to Lafayette County (Higginsville, MO). The Trojans record now stands at 4-8.
The Gryphons (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Barstow (Kansas City, MO). The Knights come into the Crossroads battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Barstow beat Summit Christian Academy (Lee's Summit, MO), 67-46, in a league battle.
