Model Patriots (Richmond, KY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lee County Bobcats (Beattyville, KY), 68-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Model upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Jackson County (McKee, KY) to play the Generals in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Generals come into the bout with a record of 9-4.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Lee County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record.
