Louisiana Bulldogs (Louisiana, MO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL), 64-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Louisiana upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Silex (Silex, MO) to play the Owls in a Eastern Missouri bout on Friday, January 20. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 1-7. Silex lost 77-45 in their recent league bout against Mark Twain (Center, MO)

Next up, the Saukees play the Camp Point Central Panthers (Camp Point, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Pittsfield will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 53-34 league win over Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL).
