The Marion County Red Raiders basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Phillips Bears to 52 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Red Raiders now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Marion County will battle a Aggies team coming off a 80-70 non-league loss to Marion County (Guin, AL). The Aggies record now stands at 3-11.

The Bears (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 13-7 record.
