The Upper Merion Area Vikings (King of Prussia, PA) basketball felled the visiting Methacton Warriors (Norristown, PA), 70-53 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Vikings (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA). The Redskins go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Neshaminy thwarted Central Bucks West (Doylestown, PA), 52-38, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Norristown for a Pioneer - Liberty test on Tuesday, January 24. Methacton will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 70-57 non-league win over Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-8.
