In Thursday's league outing, the Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT) basketball squad nipped the visiting Milford Tigers (Milford, UT), by a margin of 56-49.

The Thunderbirds (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against North Sevier (Salina, UT). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, North Sevier got by North Summit (Coalville, UT), 46-45, in a league outing.
