Maine High School Basketball - Mountain Valley can't hold off Mount Abram

The Mount Abram Roadrunners basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Mountain Valley Falcons to 60 in the Roadrunners non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Roadrunners now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dirigo for a C South contest on Tuesday, January 24. Mount Abram will battle a Cougars team coming off a 72-54 league win over Winthrop (Winthrop, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 15-0.

The Falcons (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME). The Phoenix enter the B South contest with a 9-2 record.
