Wilson Area Warriors (Easton, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Notre Dame Spartans (East Stroudsburg, PA), 73-70 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wilson Area upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Warriors travel to Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA) to play the Panthers in a Colonial - East bout on Thursday, January 26. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 13-3.

Next up, the Spartans play the East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers (East Stroudsburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 54-48 non-league win over Freedom (Bethlehem, PA).
