California High School Basketball - Sage Ridge thwarted by Truckee

The Sage Ridge Scorpions basketball team (Reno, NV), was toppled 66-58 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA)

The Wolverines now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Galena for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Truckee will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 70-56 league loss to Reed (Sparks, NV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-12.

The Scorpions (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Coleville (Coleville, CA). The Wolves come into the 1A Western battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Coleville beat Excel Christian (Sparks, NV), 53-17, in a league battle.
