The St. John Eagles basketball team (Plaquemine, LA), was overwhelmed 75-30 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA)
The Comets now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belle Chasse for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. St. Charles Catholic will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 37-35 non-league win over Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Avondale, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-16.
The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA). The Flames come into the non-league battle with a 13-8 record.
