The Summerfield Bulldogs basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Whitmore Lake Trojans to 41 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whiteford for a Tri-County contest on Tuesday, January 24. Summerfield will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 54-49 non-league win over Ida (Ida, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-3.
The Trojans (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Huron Valley Lutheran (Westland, MI). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Huron Valley Lutheran was defeated by Lutheran (Westland, MI), 69-64, in a league contest.
