Burlingame Panthers (Burlingame, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA), 45-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Burlingame upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to El Camino (South San Francisco, CA) to play the Colts in a bout on Saturday, January 21. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 9-3. El Camino won 55-49 in their recent league bout against Aragon (San Mateo, CA)

Next up, the Scots play the Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, January 21. Carlmont will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 40-39 league win over South San Francisco (South San Francisco, CA).
