Maryland High School Basketball - High Point ripped by Bowie

January 19, 2023: Bowie, MD 20715

The Bowie Bulldogs basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting High Point Eagles to 6 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anacostia for a non-league match on Monday, January 23. Bowie will meet a Indians team coming off a 47-33 league win over McKinley Tech (Washington, DC). The Indians record now stands at 10-6.

With the defeat, High Point moves to 0-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to Suitland (Forestville, MD) to meet the Rams in a Prince George's County 4A match on Tuesday, January 24. The Rams enter the match with a record of 6-5. Suitland won 64-12 in their recent league match against Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD)
