The Havana Ducks basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Central/Southeastern Panthers to 25 in the Ducks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Ducks now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brimfield for a Prairieland contest on Monday, January 23. Havana will meet a Indians team coming off a 46-41 league win over Lewistown (Lewistown, IL). The Indians record now stands at 17-6.
The Panthers (19-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 19-4 record. In their last contest, Cissna Park ran past Iroquois West (Gilman, IL), 41-26, in a league contest.
