Rhode Island High School Basketball - Mt. Hope falls to Chariho

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Chariho Chargers basketball team scored a good 59-44 triumph over the Mt. Hope Huskies.

In their next game, the Chargers meet the Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI) in a Division 2 match, on Friday, January 20. Chariho will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Kilties enter the match with a 0-9 record after their 54-32 league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI).

With the defeat, Mt. Hope moves to 8-4 on the year. The Huskies host Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI) to face the Villa Novans in a Division 2 game on Friday, January 20. The Villa Novans enter the game with a record of 1-9. Woonsocket lost 54-11 in their recent league game against Tiverton (Tiverton, RI)
