In Thursday's league match, the host Coatesville Red Raiders basketball squad scored a nice 39-31 victory over the Downingtown West Whippets.

With the victory, Coatesville upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to J.P. McCaskey (Lancaster, PA) to play the Red Tornado in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Red Tornado come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Whippets play the Avon Grove Red Devils (West Grove, PA) in a Ches-Mont - National challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Downingtown West will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
