Columbus Grove Bulldogs (Columbus Grove, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Spencerville Bearcats (Spencerville, OH), 56-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Columbus Grove upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to McComb (McComb, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 9-6. McComb lost 70-22 in their recent league bout against Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Coldwater Cavaliers (Coldwater, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Spencerville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 64-39 league loss to Parkway (Rockford, OH).
