The Lake Pointe Academy Mariners (York, SC) basketball nipped the host Cramerton Christian Academy Crusaders (Cramerton, NC), 37-32 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mariners (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Hampton Park Christian (Greenville, SC). The go into the South Carolina Christian AA - Piedmont B test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Hampton Park Christian got by GREEN Upstate (Simpsonville, SC), 47-8, in a non-league test.

The Crusaders now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont Community Charter for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. Cramerton Christian Academy will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 50-38 non-league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 11-6.
